I just got confirmation that I am going to 15W AIT in July. What advice or information do you have for a prior-service, NG SPC?

You are going to be shadow since you are a MOS-T but you have the option for ranger. You’re gonna be there for about 6 months unless you fail something, I’ve heard shadow is hard to pass, it is very fast paced. I’d prepare for you to have a college degree within a year or two because you will get quite a few college credits not sure how much credits because I’m grey eagle and would be a counter part of you. It is highly deployable

SFC Wolfinger is right, it's a good time of year to go to school as long as the monsoon rains don't delay too many flights. The problem that I see for you is that your wife will not be on your orders because you are an ARNG Soldier, so you will incur the expenses of her travel and housing off post and your state will not reimburse you.
