It's 91B now. They rolled all mechanical jobs to 91 or 94 series

I ran into the same thing. My MOS was 31M (Radio Relay Operator & Attendant - VHF) but it seems to have gone away. Anyone?

MOS 63W was merged to 91B a few years back.

It's just been reclassed, like when I went to AIT it was 64C, mid-80's they re-classed it to 88M.

Did you ask them about might wheel mechanic or just assume?

Not necessarily- if it is still around, it may be balanced or over strength. What they offer you is what is available at that time and what you qualify for., not everything there is.
