I just volunteered for deployments via MODS. Is there any way to ensure I get picked up for one?

Lol... get your wife pregnant and start some college classes. As soon as you think "now would be a really bad time for a deployment," you will definitely be picked up.

Just be sure that once you volunteer, you would have to un-volunteer also but you will be MED AUGMENTEE to a unit that needs that 68W. Volunteer now follows you even when you PCS also

google MODS, when you are in the MODS website you'll see the word "volunteer" at the bottom and you'll click volunteer and follow the instructions. Pretty easy to follow, good luck!

That explains it, I've never been a clinic medic as perm party. Usually part of a line company that has rotations in the clinic. Thanks for the info though.
