I like the concept of the Armata Family of tracked vehicles. What are your thoughts on it?

As a Maintenance Manager, I look at the concept of the Russian T-14 Armata (notice I said concept) of having a family of vehicles built off one hull design. If it is built so that there is a lot of commonality between the systems, it will make maintenance easier and faster. Imagine a whole series of engines, alternators, starters being the same? I can see down time being cut to numbers never being heard of. Sure uncommon parts will still exist, no arguments, but fixing it forward would be amazing.
