Haven't been there since 97 but I'm sure it hasn't changed much. Take lots of bug spray. Watch for poison ivy, half my platoon got it and they were miserable the whole time there. Change of socks you are going to louisiana so pretty sure you might do some water crossings and watch for cotton mouths. Had a Cpl that jumped into a foxhole and found one he got out just as fast as he got in.
