I'm a 25U and more than likely going to be getting orders to Fort Campbell. Care to shine any information about it?

My experience at Campbell was much different than those described here. Prior to SFAS I spent a little over a year in the Cco.3/327th and never was even considered for Air Assault school. It was a random if anyone got to go. We fought for Pre-Ranger and Ranger slots and spent garrison time in EIB training or at the range. No real opportunity for college since we never had more than 7 weeks in garrison. Always in the field. After SFAS I spent the rest of my time at 5th Group which was geographically next door but an entirely different universe than the 101st. I don't know what a 25U will be doing but good luck.

Young man you are joining and elite Division, I served with 2-327 Inf (No Slack) for four and a half years, it was the best unit I had ever been a member of in my 24 years. Injoy

1SG(P) Charles Graeser you are now also in an elite Brigade and Division, serving with the 325th AIR. I hope that you enjoy your time in the 325th AIR and the 2nd BCT. I am glad that you were in the base line unit for the 101st, especially since the 327th Inf became the 327th GIR, when it was pulled from the 82nd Inf Div to become the base unit for the 101st Abn Div, and of course is the sister Regiment to the 325th AIR. AATW. Let's Go!

Never been with 325 AIR, I was with HHC 4th BCT until I broke my ankle on a jump and I was forced to retire due to my new injury and old ones. 4th BCT shut down in May of 2014.

1SG(P) Charles Graeser - I understand. Part of the 4th BCT (508th PIR) was rolled into the 2nd BCT (325th AIR) to include the 2/508th and the 1/73rd Cav. I am a past member of the 2/508th PIR, when it was part of the 1st Brigade. Sorry about your broken ankle.
