I'm an E-3/25U going to 1st Battalion 327 Infantry Regiment at Fort Campbell, Any advice?

PFC (Join to see) - Congratulations on finally learning where you should be going in the 101st Abn (Air Assault) Div. Your new division has its roots in the Civil War and WWI. Learn the history of the 8th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment and of "Old Abe". Also remember that the only part of the 101st Division that remains is HQs 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). Next the nucleus of the 101st Airborne Division was the 327th Glider Infantry Regiment that had previously been a part of the 82nd Infantry Division. Remember this - the 327th Infantry Regiment is the oldest part of the 101st. Though "Old Abe" as a symbol is older, and was associated with HQs 101st Division (Organized Reserve) in 1921, just remember that the 327th Infantry was organized on 17 September 1917.

As a 25U you will be required to have a can do attitude even if it is not your job. Be honest and open and accepting of things that fall on your plate. That is all I got for you. Just remember you went through school and now you are at the bottom of the totem pole. Don't forget that there are reasons for the leaderships madness. Mostly to teach and sometimes the retardation is out of their control. that's all I got for you.
