I'm an E-5 in the reserves graduating college with a degree in Psychology, and plan on becoming an officer. What are my first priorities?

What branch of officer are you looking to become? Medial or something else?

Medical is a tricky one. You can not go into a Psychologist position unless you have you PhD as a AMEDD Officer . Your option would 70B which is Health Service Admin.
All the other Branches except medical, JAG, and Chaplain's you would go through the Career Counselor. For the AMEDD you would need to talk to an AMEDD Recruiter. I would talk to both so you know your options.

SGT (Join to see) - definitely you want to see an AMEDD recruiter then. Question for you then is are you planning on getting your PhD?
i can tell you that the 70B is competitive for both active and reserves. The good thing is you are one up on a lot of other applicants being an NCO/Prior Service. If you push on and be persistent you will sure make it. Good luck!
