To get to that school, you would need to be in that duty position first.
As far as how this translates to the private sector: air medevac/air ambulance companies employ paramedics at a minimum, many employ LPNs, RNs and PAs.
A 68W EMT(B) is qualified to work in an ambulance or an ER as an EMT/CNA/patient tech.

You can use tuition assistance to complete a paramedic or LPN program, many Guard 68Ws work contract ambulances or in ERs while going through paramedic programs.

An MOS that translates better to the private sector is 68C, it's a year long but that certifies you as an LPN, and many systems even have programs to hire an LPN and assist with tuition to complete an RN program.

SGM (Join to see) - Is the 68C that big of an advantage in the Civilian world today? I have a number of friends that are Paramedics, they say the Ambulance services and even the Fire Departments have a hard time keeping Para's because the hospitals are using them as a replacement for LNP because of better pay and hours. There is at least one local college that offers a bridge program from Paramedic to RN, which would be the big step pay and positions.

CPT Lawrence Cable I think it's a great choice for people first entering the Army, but not so much for most people reclassing, especially in the RC. In the time it takes to switch units, get a class date, go to school and graduate, a person can enroll and graduate from a civilian LPN program
