My research suggests Alaska, Bragg, Campbell, Italy, for the most part. I would ideally like to be at Bragg. Is there anything I should do or say to maximize those odds?

If you pass airborne school, it will be Alaska, Italy/Germany, or Bragg. 90%likely to be Bragg.

Once you get through basic they usually give you an option to pick your top 3 duty stations. I'm national guards so I just went home but have fun at fort Sam, although it seems like they are allowing less freedom at AIT these days.

LOL ! Tell them you want to go to Germany and they’ll send you to Bragg. That’s how the Army works. At AIT tell anyone who will listen that you want to be stationed at Bragg. I don’t think there should be a problem. We had a SFC at Ft Irwin. He’d been in 18 years and spent them all at Bragg. He just rotated from unit to unit every 2-3 years. He was from Boone NC so he liked it at Bragg. The Army finally caught up with him and sent him to Irwin where he processed his retirement.

Yea, did you get Airborne in your contract that will definately help getting to Bragg. Spent a total of 12 years there. Good luck.
