I'm looking for a Army Reserve O-3 slot (NO MCPODs) in the Seattle area with a non time-consuming unit. Any ideas?

There are multiple reserve units in the JBLM area. Closest to Seattle is 364ESC in Marysville. However, O3 positions are typically staff and do require work (power points and briefings).

I'm not necessarily worried about staff work. However, the MCPODs do meet for drill for 6 days straight once a quarter. This is highly disruptive for my civilian job.

Have you considered IMA? I am in an assignment that lets me do all of my ADT and IDT together... takes about 24 days. Once per year and I am done. Under these circumstances it does not have to be "local". I live in Pennsylvania and my duty station is in Hawaii.

Sir. Get with an Army Reserve Career Counselor at JBLM and they will be able to log into RCMS and find any open vacancies. 7th BN ARCD is in Washington area. If you need a POC contact me and I can get that to you on Monday.
