I’m looking into becoming an Aviation Warrant Officer in the California National Guard. Can someone please tell me the basics?

I’ve already established contact with the Warrant Officer Recruiter in the SoCal area as well as a commissioned aviator with the local battalion (1/140 Aviation Regiment, Los Alamitos Airfield, around Long Beach).
