I'm looking into trying recruiting. If I pick up the AGR spot for the 3 year tour do I have to drop my blue cord or is 11b still my primary?

I was unaware that a Spc. Can perform the duties of recruitment? If this is authorized in the Guard I would recommend against it as three years away from your primary at that grade would likely prove to be detrimental to your development as an infantryman. Thank you for your service.

SFC J Fullerton - Thats what I figured. I do car sales now for my civilian job and going to do ADOS first to try it out to see how it goes compared to that.

I don’t know if National Guard recruiting is a better work environment or not but I’ve never met a leader that’s loved recruiting.

11B will be your primary MOS until you attend the conversion course. But you will not wear a blue cord (or disks) because you would not occupy an 11B duty position in a Recruiting Retention BN.
Ideally you would already have BLC done, and get ALC as soon as you are eligible. Look at trying to get your second AGR job in the Infantry as soon as you have three years recruiting.
