I'm on orders to Bragg next year. What would be the best route to get into Airborne School and SFAB?

You need to be assigned to an airborne unit with a paid parachute position PPP from the MTOE for you to fill to get a slot for jumpschool.

SFAB is accepting volunteers who pass their selection criteria but currently do not have any coded airborne positions. If you want jump wings, hopefully you have airborne en-route to the 82nd. After that, volunteer for the SFAB and if accepted both of your goals have been achieved.
Of note, SFABs require you to be KD complete at your current grade to be considered fully eligible, and there’s no guarantee you’ll be stationed at 2nd SFAB.
