It's been 6 years since the incident and I have worked hard to build a career. I really need advise on the waiver and how to bring my case and demonstrate my progress since. Thank you

For what it's worth, I had to do the same memo for my OCS packet. Long story short, my ex-wife lied about the charge, and it got thrown out of court. I got picked up. Now this was in 2008, and the pick-up rate was in the high 80%s....

But as SGM Marquez said, you won't know if you don't try. You have nothing to lose by applying. Good Luck!

It is just what you stated a REQUEST..
There is no black and white answer.
If the conviction is not on a disallowed list (family violence, drug distribution or manufacturing charges for instance)
If the Service has a valid need for you.
And if they do not have 10 other packets who do not need a waiver and only have 8 accession slots need be filled.
Then IF the person reviewing the packet has no issue with the crime convicted, and all other things line up.. the waiver may be approved.

All you can do is submit the request and see what happens.
