Once you sign your contract, 35L becomes a packet MOS meaning you need to apply. With that being said, you would need a TS/SCI, be at least 21, have a GT of 110 and have no derogatory information in your background investigation

I’m planning to retake the ASVAB once I’m in, and also take the class to help me score higher.

This also brings the question, why'd you agree to 92Y if you wanted to be a 35L?

My ASVAB results weren’t good enough to enlist as 35L. I’m planning to take it again once I’m in.

Gotcha. Typical reason as well. So you have Basic, then AIT, then you'll need to do at least a year as a 92Y before you can really apply to anything else. As well as meet all prerequisites as outlined at https://www.goarmy.com/careers-and-jobs/browse-career-and-job-categories/intelligence-and-combat-support/counterintelligence-agent.html
BSEP is the course you will need to take to raise your ASVAB scores, you will want above a 110 on pretty much everything to open the floodgates of application opportunities such as 35L, Special Ops, OCS/WOCS, and a zillion other things you don't know about ...yet.
You probably won't get to take the class as soon as you show up, you'll def need to show your command that you are a good Soldier and not just some immature dude who hates his job.
Best of luck to ya, it's good to have a goal!

Tbh... if it were me (which it’s not) and I could wait I would suggest that. It’ll be a while before you can reclass. If you want 35L and you aren’t in a rush I would suggest you take the time to study for your ASVAB and retake it and enlist in your desired MOS.
