I'm thinking about getting one of those elevation training masks. Anyone have any experience with them?

CPT (Join to see) I'm wondering if running in high humidity might do the same trick?

This might help. http://www.bodybuilding.com/content/do-elevation-masks-work.html
Training with a high-altitude mask makes breathing harder, but that doesn't necessarily equate to improved cardiorespiratory fitness. Get the truth about this popular training fad!

And what it does do, you probably don't want.

SGT (Join to see) Interesting. Seems like is doing what people want. I knew the name is a misnomer as there is no simple way for a neoprene mask to change the oxygen level in the air breathed.

I used them while running and kickboxing. I'd say it helps, not sure how significant though.

SrA Edward Vong I can usually get my Cardio conditioning back up to par pretty quick, but I'd like to break the barrier, you know what I mean? See just what levels I can attain.

We you planning on doing anything competitively, or just overall health. I'd say if you were going to competition levels, the mask is good.
