I’m wanting to get into SOAR Green Platoon. What’s the best way to apply?

I dropped a volunteer worksheet in AIT, but I received orders for Hawaii first. So, I’m at my first duty station as of February of 2020. I’ve talked to a 160th recruiter here and i was told i have to wait 18 months before i can do anything. I was wondering if there is anything i can do or any way around it?

160th recruiter is your only way in, they have the best and most up to date guidance. Stay in great shape for green platoon! Learn your job the best you can, 160th needs experts. Good luck!

There's a SORB station in Hawaii. Go through them. Take this as a chance to improve your PT and get some experience before you try out for the big dogs.

They are the best- they said 18 mths, then it's 18 mths if you are lucky enough to get chosen. Right now, you have nothing to show
