I’m wanting to reclassify to 79S but was given an ALC date for current MOS (88N) the same time as Career Counselors Course. What is better?

I guess that depends on what you mean by better. I love being a Career Counselor. You can still go to ALC and become a counselor. As for which job is better for you, that's a personal decision.

Go with the Career Counselor Course your only an E-5 right now but as a Career Counselor the sky is the limit, how much time do you have in the Army and how much time in grade, what is your RCP?

I’ve been in a total of 7 years. Only 3.5 total active time as I was in the reserves. I have 9 years till I hit RCP. I’ll hit a year TIG come August.
