I need help fixing the retirement block on my LES. S1, finance, MyPay, and retirement services are all no help. Can anyone help with this?

Long story short S1 sent me to finance, finance sent me to MyPay, MyPay sent me back to finance, finance sent me to retirement services, retirement services sent me back to finance. Went TDY for almost 5 months and haven't had time to start over since I got back. Anyone have experience with an issue like this?

Based on your comments below you are currently enrolled in the Legacy plan. Choice is the name of the legacy plan. It's called choice because once you hit 15 years you are eligible to choose REDUX or High 3. Of course, REDUX was discontinued a few years ago, so it's choice until you hit 15 years when your LES will say High 3. You would have to personally opt in to the BRS to make it happen

Awesome. Thank you for the clarity! It's a load off my mind. Unfortunate because I thought that since I had been forced in to the BRS that it would stay that way, but it did not. I was hoping to use it as a safety net once I go warrant in case I didn't get a second look for CW3 or CW4. It's set in stone now as the Legacy plan correct?

SGT (Join to see) no, you can opt into BRS for up to one year after you come on active duty. Once that year passes you are permanently with the Legacy plan. If you missed out on the opportunity then there is still a way to contact DFAS to enroll in BRS if you wanted to.
On an alternate note, if you aren't selected for CW4 and have to separate, you are qualified for statutory entitlement. If you choose, you can revert back to an NCO and stay for your retirement.

MAJ Ken Landgren I always do that before I leave a unit. Since every base is different and they each have their own "nuances", every time I PCS its like learning how to ride a bike again. I usually keep a big word document on the issues I encounter more than once and a solution on how to fix them and who to contact. Of course, with how fast things change in my field, and how quickly SOPs change, the information is pretty outdated within three years or so.

MAJ Ken Landgren is your DTS smart book still relevant with the new changes in DTS? If so, I'd like to get access to that. DTS has been a recurring issue in my unit for a lot of my guys.

You did not articulate the issue with your retirement block on your LES.
You need to tell us about the issue (we do not need your personnel finance info).
