I need to drive a humvee, and I was told that there is a training that I have to take. Where can I take this training?

It’s called drivers training academy. Your master driver holds the course. It’s about a two week course. Upon completion they’ll do the paperwork for your license to drive the trucks you have and humvees

CPL (Join to see) - this answer is great but where in the wide wide world of sports is your squad or section leader?

Wow, I remember back in the day they said "get in that jeep and drive". That's how we learned how to drive any vehicle. They'd write it on you license and the form (forgot the number) and you were then and expert driver.

Ask whomever assigned you to drive the Hummv to send you to an appropriate class. AND - learn about the vehicle’s stability! PLEASE DO NOT EVER CAUSE A HUMMV TO ROLL OVER!!!!!

OK, since I started in the old Jeep Era, which would roll over in a heart beat, just what does it take to roll a HUMMV? The venerated M113 would flip on a side slope too. Seen that happen a couple of time. Dumb luck no one was seriously injured.

CPT Lawrence Cable With the rash of military vehicle turnovers in the last year, it seemed appropriate. I have never ridden in a Hummv.
