I want to do something special for my wedding to remember how my fiance and I met and to honor our family that served. Needing a good idea?

This might sound ridiculous but you could have a special table set up at the front where the bridal party table is or smack dab in the middle of the room. The table would be a missing man table. You could have one seat and place seating for each branch of the military. like this but do it how you choose. This way everyone can see it and pay respects

Teresa Varela , this a great idea. In fact, I call this idea the blue ribbon winner. PFC Pamala (Hall) Foster , you should go with this idea.

I love it-my uncles all served in WW2, Korea and in other conflicts, and since they are looking down from heaven, I want to do something special-so instead of a Father Daughter dance, I am doing a 'Ball style' where all of our male friends/guests dance with me...my best friend starts it off.

You could open with the song from the Army recruiting commercials and exit to the Army song!

I like the flags idea. You could get help from your local VFW with the flags in the flag stands along with the American flag in the middle.
