I was separated for Adjustment Disorder, but I want back in to the Reserves. Has anyone successfully overturned an AD finding as a vet?

Were you separated from active duty or the air force reserves for "Adjustment Disorder" Capt Matthew Smith?
How long ago were you separated? The more recent and the more critical; your specialty the better.
Is this a documented medical disorder which is treatable?
Did you receive an honorable or general discharge or were you discharged in another category?

Capt Matthew Smith
I separated from AD in 2007. It's an honorable discharge. I could find a psychiatrist who would argue that it was an inappropriate diagnosis in the first place.

If they are they may be able to help you. A Patient Advocate was able to help me out last month. I had not heard of that service before but I think each VA Medical Center has a Patient Advocate,
