I will be a 91P going to fort Hood as a SGT can any one give me an in site of what the day to day is like ?

Army work is what it is! This area is great for family and for single soldiers. Tons of stuff to do with 2.5 hrs driving distance. The beach at Galveston, San Antonio River walk, Dallas/FT Worth, Austin to name a few

The area isn’t too bad. If you’re living off post check out Copperas Cove. Hood itself is where morale goes to die unfortunately. If you’re a decent NCO though you’ll be able to pull your joes out of the funk and keep the Mood up the best you can.

DID TWO TOURS AT FT. HOOD 1 WHEN I RETURNED FROM VIET NAM ASSIGNED TO A NEW M.P. COMPANY DID NOT HAVE ANY SUPPLY PERSONA. I STARTED TO FILL IN THE CO. ASKED I LIKED WHAT I WAS DOING, I SAID YES, THAT WAS MY JOB TILL I RE-UPED. WENT SUPPLY SCHOOL THEN ASSIGNED TO GERMANY. THE LAST TIME WAS FOR RETIREMENT, HAD FUN BOTH TIMES.
