If a soldier is on orders to PCS and attend school to reclassify, will the family members also be listed on the orders?

Hello everyone, my husband is reclassing and in ATARS (sp) he is coded as a PCS student. He hasn't gotten his orders yet, just signed the reclasses papers a few days ago, but his school date is February. My question is since he is going as a PCS student will the kids and I be on his orders to move as well?

If the school is longer than 4 months it is a PCS, if it is shorter, it is TDY. As for if it is TDY enroute or TDY and return that can depend on a lot of stuff.

His school is 25 weeks. Does that mean it will be a whole family PCS or do they do unaccompanied PCS for schools?

That's a lil over 6 months, it SHOULD be a full PCS. Your orders will be the defining word on the subject. I would prepare for a move with everyone. However, they may allow you to stay in place and your husband to attend school, and all move to duty station at the end.

SGT(P) (Join to see) that would be awesome, I'm just trying to figure out if we are going to have less than sixty days to make a PCS happen. In the system it says he's a PCS student.
