If a Vet or Retired, do you miss being in the military?

Being a Marine, I am sure that I am not alone, I miss the structure and the respect. Civilians don't understand us very well. for me it was hard to be an effective manager when employees pretty much can tell you to F off and still keep their job.
I didn't get that while I was in and I dang sure won't stand for it from some one that hasn't earned that right

I ETS'd exactly 10 years ago today.
It brings me a lot of sadness considering that I would still be in if it were up to me.
