If called upon in the future, and you could choose without any repercussions, would you serve again in an all out conventional war?

Yes, without hesitation. I had ETS'd after Desert Storm, I volunteered almost 10 years later after 9/11 to go active again. If needed again and they would take me, I would gladly go back active as long as i can physically complete the mission.

I was moved to Retired Reserves Feb. 2001 and I put in for recall even though I knew it was a long shot (46 and not even active reserve for five years). I even applied for an AGR slot when they were aking for volunteer recall retirees, by which time I was over 50. I would have went back then, and I would still do anything today that I was physically capable of performing.

That's a hard question to answer. I'm currently serving the Marine Corps in the exact same capacity as I was when I was wearing the uniform. The only difference is now I'm not bogged down by all the other stuff like PowerPoint classes, annual training, fiscal year training, green side training, etc.
I love the uniform and everything about the Marine Corps. But I also love the family I've created since I left. I'm not sure I could risk an extended separation from my family when I am currently doing the exact same thing I was doing while wearing the uniform.
