No it won't. Also, you can't ask for an earlier report date without a valid justification. The report date is based on the unit strengths at the time of report.

If your orders have the statement “early report authorized” or “sixty days early report authorized” then you can report early without submitting any paper, however your current unit has to sign off on it.

Where is it you are going? (Don't think 62d Air Wing is a destination from your tags).

Changing a report date 30-60 days might not change your unit. You may be reassigned in reception based on strength and vacancies regardless of Report date.

SGT (Join to see) Just out of curiosity, are you wanting to change your pending assignment or trying to keep it from changing? Generally early reporting is built into your orders, if it’s authorized. If that’s the case, then it wouldn’t affect your assigned unit. On the other hand, it’s not unheard of to be reassigned upon arrival or even enroute. I speak from experience at JBLM.
