If I enlist in the National Guard with a goal of becoming a WO pilot, would I have to go to MOS school prior to putting in a packet?

I just spent 5 years active duty as an aircraft mechanic in the Marine Corps. My goal in life is to be a pilot and I have decided I want to be a National Guard WO pilot in New Jersey. I was advised to enlist into the guard and work on my package then. So I have everything line up to be a 15P. Would I have to go to MOS school prior to putting any packages in? Is there any other advice or help anybody has to offer?

I don't know much about it but there is a program where you enlist and go from basic training directly to WOCS then flight school.
Also if you're USMC MOS is equivalent to an Army MOS you may already be MOSQ.

A lot of Marines talk about this but few have the gall to follow through and do it. Best of luck to you.

Damn jarhead- You have to be part of the Army in order to go to Warrant Officer School. You have to have an MOS (normally) so if you screw the pooch that can send you home.

That makes sense. I have just heard of many people joining or going right into WO from another branch and want to make sure that I am not doing an extra step.

No you don't. You can be from any branch and apply to be a WO pilot. Obviously once accepted, you will become part of the army, but you get it.
