If I failed the height/weight and lost my promotable status, do I get it back once I make weight? What regulation addresses this?

I am a SPC and I had my P stat, I failed hieght and weight by 2% so they stripped the P stat and got flagged I had multiple people tell me that once my flag was lifted I get my promatable stat back but some say otherwise I've looked for the regs saying which is which and can not come to a conclusion any knowledge on this would be very helpful... kind of don't want to go to the board again but if I have to I have to..?

You can get it back once you go back to the Board and get recommended again.

unfortunately - a Flag will remove any favorable action(s), Promotable status is a favorable action. I would suggest seeing a dietician for a better diet to keep the weight off.

Pretty basic research skills could answer your question. Are you trying to be an actual SGT or just another E5? Theres a huge difference that Id be happy to explain if no one else has told you about it.
