If I get stationed in Germany on an unaccompanied tour will I still receive bah?

You will get BAH for where your family is located and you will be required to stay in the barracks. Two years is a long time to be without your family

SPC (Join to see) you could defer your assignment long enough to request command sponsorship unless you're coming out of IET. It's a lot easier to get command sponsorship before you leave than after

No, if you are anywhere located with barracks that is where you will reside.

Why would you be unaccompanied? Unless you have a rare EFMP, most families go. I do know of some spouses that have made a choice to stay in the states.
