If I'm on HRAP from 3-16 June, and my report date is on the 17th to Bliss, can I call my unit to authorize a couple days of travel?

Only asking cause I'm told that if I change it now even though my graduation isn't till the 31st of May that I will be held over and my wedding is the Saturday following graduation. So obviously I cant risk being held over, so I really am not sure what my options are.

Also what are you reporting to Ft Bliss for on 17JUN18? What class are you graduating from on the 31st, of what month? I'm assuming its not June, since there are only 30 days in June What unit are you going to after you graduate? All that being said, you can always ask however be prepared for the answer to be no.

Yes of course SGT Major, I honestly already and prepared for the no response. But that is all that I can be told. I'm reporting to Bliss on 17JUN2018, my orders say I'm at HRAP until the 16th. My current chain of command placed me as GOV after I had informed them I was POV. So there saying if its fixed it will cause me to be a holdover here at Ft Lee QM AIT.

WTF?! I am now more confused. This is not Twitter, feel free to string together a full and complete thought and or statement/question.
Your current Chain of Command (COC) places you as a GOV (government?) you informed them you were a POV (privately owned vehicle)? How will fixing whatever causes you to be a holdover? Will something cause you to start your AIT late or something?

I am graduating AIT at Fort Lee SGT Major. My Drill SGT placed me as GOV when informed them that I was POV yes. There saying that if they request to change the orders so that it gives me my days of travel after my HRAP ends that it will cause me to be a holdover and not go home after I graduate to attend HRAP.

I wouldn't. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth bud. Your report date is your report date and if you need time to travel talk to the recruiters that you are assisting and they will probably give that to you.
