If I re-enlist, could I ask for the Student Loan Repayment Program if it previously wasn’t available when I enlisted in 2015?

Does the army offer this for a SM to re-enlist? Or is it a one time deal at the beginning.

There is a student loan forgiveness program. Fedloan is my student loan administrator, and under this program if you are AD you only pay a minimum for 10 years and everything else gets deleted or forbidden. They estimated my payment for $20 monthly for 10 years ($32,000 in student loan), evaluated every year based only on your basic pay. Hope this helps.

Did you go to the fedloan website? Or where did you find this at? Mine too is through fed loan.

I called them and ask who qualify for student loan forgiveness program. This is only for AD not NG or Reserve. It also works for public schools teachers, police officers and other government jobs. They do have some info on their website.

SGT (Join to see) I really wish that I could help you, Specialist. I have never been in your situation before; although, I did reenlist.
