You will need to talk to your local Warrant Officer Accession NCO. You are years out from submitting a packet at this point in your career. You will need to be a SGT/ SSG and have five years worth of NCOERs. The last word I had when I put my packet in a few years ago was that for reservists and NG soldiers we could use relevant civillian job experience to apply for a WO MOS outside of our primary MOS. You would still 5 years worth of experience. They really emphasized the MOS of 255A and 290A both in the IT field using this approach. I haven't heard anything about doing this for a 915A. Good luck.

not really, pretty much what Chief said-5 years of NCOERS and a minimum 110 GT score but I will tell you if you haven't done any type of civilian tech school passing those ASE courses will be VERY difficult for you

Your profile states "Army Reserve | Human Resources Specialist
at 2nd PSYOP Grp, USACAPOC, USARC
Twinsburg, OH"

ASE: Automotive Service Excellence is for the automotive field...
HR and Automotive are two different things... If you want to become a warrant in your MOS (HR) ASE cert is not going to help.

The min requirement to apply to be a warrant in a technical field (either HR or Automotive) are
REQUIREMENTS

WARRANT OFFICER CANDIDATE SCHOOL

Those interested in becoming Warrant Officers must be selected for Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS), which is generally held in Fort Rucker, Alabama. Technical specialty applicants must be Staff Sergeant/E-6 or higher to be considered for selection.

Have a high school diploma.
Be at least 18 years old at the time of enlistment and not have passed their 33rd birthday at the time of selection (for aviators) or their 46th birthday for all other specialties. Age waivers are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Be a citizen of the United States.
For WOFT Candidates only: Achieve a qualifying score on the Selection Instrument for Flight Training (SIFT). SIFT test results are valid indefinitely, as long as verifiable official records exist. No waivers are available for failure to meet the minimum SIFT score.
Earn a General Technical score of 110 or higher on the Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).
Have at least 12 months remaining on their enlistment contract.
Meet the Army's screening height and weight standards and pass the standard three-event Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) not more than six months before their application packet is boarded.
Take a physical exam and meet entry medical fitness standards as determined by military medical authorities no more than 24 months prior to the date of application. Aviation applicants must also undergo a Class 1A Flight Physical Examination and have results approved by Flight Surgeons at Fort Rucker, Alabama, prior to the selection board. The Flight Physical must be less than 18 months old.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR TECHNICAL SPECIALTIES

Must complete MOS training
Must complete appropriate Noncommissioned Officer Education System (NCOES) Leadership Courses
Must have documented proficiency in specialty area
Must meet prerequisite standards for specialty area

As you can see you do not meet the min requirements at this time, never mind the issue with your stated MOS vice the one you seem interested in for WARRANT OFFICER CANDIDATE SCHOOL

I would want to warrant in transportation or motor pool whatever the branch is for that. I wouldn't want to do HR. I'm a mechanic in the civilian world

Help qualify? Yes. Completely qualify? No.
Not to say that you absolutely can't, but as stated in the comments, you need TIG, TIS, and if you really want to apply right this minute, you better impress the hell out of a CW3 on you knowledge of how to run a maintenance shop, Army Regs, and leadership.
I wish the best of luck to you, and suggest you scour Rally Point for answers on WOCS, accessions, and previous experiences. There are many people who ask questions easily answered by finding their nearest Accessions NCO, but tips and knowledge are spewed by all kinds of Warrants that have just finished training all over this site for all kinds Candidate questions.

Since Tim has added his 2 cents I will add a couple more to it, first off it all depends on the needs of the Army and simply because you have an ASE certification 1 or all as a Master Technician that still does not give you the other skill set required to become a Warrant Officer, because as a 915 series Warrant you need to know all the jobs in the Motor Pool, although many of my compatriots will argue that the NCO's should be doing the Training we as Warrant Officers wear many hats, and the biggest one is being a mentor to all who cross our paths. I would suggest that you become proficient in your job and learn what the 92 series do in the shop arena i.e. services, dispatches managing PLL, POL environmental aspects of the Motor Pool etc.. I do applaud you on wanting to commit to become a Warrant however, but like I said becoming a Warrant Officer especially in the maintenance arena is more than knowing how to work on equipment, you are a Mid-Level manager at that point. However also do not sale yourself short if you have a CW3 915A in your chain that is willing to submit a LOR for you by all means however take a look at the prerequisites for the MOS one of them is E5 with 4 years experience and 6 semester hours of English. Good Luck. http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/warrant/prerequ/WO915A.shtml

It would depend on what ASE certifications, being a school bus technician may not help you much as opposed to being ASE Medium-Heavy Truck Certification Tests (T1 – T8) would. Did you go to a vocational school, community college and gain an Associates can weigh in your favor, but it depends on other factors for WO selection, not to mention all the other criteria that needs to be met, and approved by the branch proponent if you are NG/RA. I haven't heard of 915's being selected that way, doesn't mean it hasn't happened, just not likely. You have a long road ahead of you, read up on the criteria and you may find it takes longer than what many people think it will take.
