If my disability rating increases, can I get backpay to when I initially started collecting?

Not sure how this board works so sorry if I'm putting this in the wrong place. My compensation rating just increased from 40% combined to 80%. I originally started collecting in 2015. Will the va have to pay the difference back to that date? No change in condition, the just underrated me initially.
