To be clear, I'm not Anti Vax but I'm also not vaccinated. With all the immunizations and drugs the government has given us like anthrax, smallpox, doxycycline, mefloquine..etc. service members and Veterans are still concerned about the COVID-19 vaccine. Even after the FDA approved Pfizer, I was not planning on receiving the vaccine and would not have gotten it without being forced by the Military. Now that the pentagon mandated it, I obviously have no choice. I’m curious to hear other veteran/service members opinions are?

The amount of misinformation out there is astounding. You are not protecting your shipmate or anyone else by getting the vaccine… only affording yourself a lesser course. Let me break it down for you from a physician’s perspective:

-The COVID mortality rate for most demographics is in the 1% or less range.
-Natural immunity is far superior to “vaccine” disease attenuation. T-cell (long term) immunity can be tested, but the test is still being treated as experimental and is largely unexercised.
-The “vaccines” do NOT protect you from contracting or spreading COVID.
-The “vaccines” DO increase asymptomatic spread.
-The “vaccines” DO cause mutations such as delta, lambda, mu, etc.
-The medical establishment has known of and largely ignored treatments that have proven effective; to include monoclonal antibodies which are only now being offered in the outpatient setting, early in disease as they ought to have been for over 12 months since PROVEN effective (a la President Trump and his short “hospitalization”).
-The mRNA “vaccines” are not vaccines in the traditional sense; previous experiments were aborted because they were killing the trial animals.
-The “vaccines” were brought to market under the EUA, which was absolutely appropriate to at least try to protect the most vulnerable (elderly, comorbidities, etc). HOWEVER, in doing so, they lumped Phase 1 and Phase 2 together, skipping animal trials and thereby making the human subjects the test animals.
-The FDA “approved” the Pfizer “vaccine” ignoring the tenets of bringing a drug to market. Trials are not complete, safety is UNKNOWN, and efficacy is limited to affording the recipient an attenuated disease course, NOT protection. AT WHAT PERSONAL HEALTH COST? We simply don’t know!
-As an unvaccinated person, I am the safest person to be around those unable to be vaccinated as I am not shedding unknown particles and if I were to have the disease, I would be symptomatic and therefore self isolated. If I were vaccinated, I could be unwittingly exposing everyone around me with God knows what!
-The vaccinated are a greater risk to me than I am to them.
-The vaccinated are ONLY protecting themselves from a severe disease course… while causing mutations, risking asymptomatic spread, and risking their future health by allowing themselves to be a human lab rat in the world’s largest in vivo drug trial in history. Hitler, eat your heart out.

I am vaccinated but full understand why someone may be opposed. I got vaccinated because I was told it would protect me from getting COVID. I am not sure mandatory vaccination now is correct.

I'm not Anti-Vax, and I am fully Vaccinated, and Have a ton of other crap shot in me like anthrax. Here is the thing with Covid-19. If I was in and had the choice I would sit down with my chain of command and truly have a heart to heart on the matter. It easy to be caught up on the hype. I would go directly from the SCIENCE. But that's not all. Mission success also plays an important part. If me not getting the Jab would cause undo problems for moral in my squad or unit, that could affect the mission I would take the jab because the mission comes first.

Obviously if you are active duty you are subject to get the vaccine along with the cocktail of other crap you have to do.
I am hesitant to get one of the current COVID vaccinations as I am not the type of person to rush out and get the newest thing. The VID shots are a new thing and I am leery of not only their effectiveness, but also side effects up to and including death. I am waiting for a revised version. Basically I see the current stuff as Windows 8. I will wait for the Windows 10 version which will be far more polished as less buggy.

I got it so I could go on a TAD trip where I would've been able to see my folks again, but the right people didn't know I got the vaccine until it was too late. I felt it was moot to get at the time. I feel it is now further moot to get since we're back to wearing masks anywhere and everywhere regardless of vaccine status.

After reading the comments here please turn your TV’s off. WTF has happened to our military. For some of you if the government told you to go suck on a hollow point sadly you would.

None of the vaccines given for COVID right now are approved by the FDA. They still fall under the EUA

Nope. I wouldn't get it.
Why risk being a guinea pig / beta tester?
