If we have the Mission Act to ensure timely access to Veteran Healthcare, why is no one paying attention to the chaos of VSE for C&P exam?

I cannot speak to Veterans Evaluation Services specifically (I assume that's what you mean by "VSE"), but here is some information about the C&P exam backlog:
Office of Audits and Evaluations, VA Office of Inspector General. Enhanced Strategy Needed to Reduce Disability Exam Inventory Due to the Pandemic and Errors Related to Canceled Exams, Report No. 20–02826–07 (19 Nov 2020).

You need to understand that VA Healthcare & VA Disability Claims - are two separate & different programs.
The Mission Act only applies to VA Healthcare side, not the disability process.
When you go through with the VA disability claims process, you do not see VA doctors & do not go into VA hospitals or clinics. This is contracted out with different doctors for c&p exams.
I would recommend that you go through an organization like the DAV to assist him and the claims and C&P processes.
You can also utilize the VA claims liaison with any issues that you may have. Since covid-19 now on video, rather than having to go in to the clinic.

Being 100% myself ... and working in veteran "healthcare" entitlements I am aware of difference.
Pointing out that we...VA.... recognized the poor access to Healthcare and addressed it.
But no one in Comp and Pen is paying attention to vendor/ contractor ....let's but it nice...
Inadequate and not
..veteran centric...
But...bureaucracy centric...excuse after excuse with no one watching.
How many vets are waiting more than 30 days for a scheduled VSE vendor apt?
How many are over 3 months?
Anyone even paying attention?
In the age of telehealth... VSE should not be allowed to not EXPEDITE claim exams when being paid by taxpauer funded VA contract $$.
Thank you

Not confused.
VBA Comp and Pen is not...
The VHA....veteran healthcare.
My point is if the department of veteran affairs overall mission is to care for those that have borne the battle why is benefits allowing these inadequate contractors for comp and pen exams?
