If women are assuming roles in combat units, will the draft include women?

The new NDAA draft has a provision in it that says women register for Selective Service but I don't know if it's passed with that in it yet.

Again the entire reason women were left out of mandatory registration was combat exclusion. The only way to change that is amending the law.

Ultimately I don't get why people are so bent out of shape because if we need to draft people again and can't sustain a fight with what we have now, we are probably fucked.
