If you are in a Ranger Regiment, are you still doing your job-specific MOS or are you doing something else entirely?

If you are in the 75th Ranger Regiment as a 35-series, or some other MOS besides 11-series how similar, or different, is it to being in a different, or a more conventional unit as a 35 series (or any other series that the 75th sources from?)
I guess boiled down my question is if I went to regiment would I still be doing my job or would I really be something else?

I am pretty sure that unless you were selected through RASP, you will not be conducting Ranger missions, but will continue to provide support for the missions as appropriate for your MOS. I imagine you will be held to a higher fitness standard in order to keep up with the larger mission.
Good question.

Graduating RASP gets you into the 75th Ranger Regiment, at which point you go to a Battalion and normally do the job of your MOS.

1. If they have your MOS, then you will be doing that MOS. 2. There might be some bleed over- force/base security deployed forward, etc.
