PCSing to Hawaii (and back) we were told 2 checked bags and 1 carry on per person. Anything more would have to be on our dime. I went to Clothing Sales and bought 10 Aviator Kits bags, 2 for each family member. You can fit a LOT of stuff in them things!

Yes there is. When pcsing you are allowed 2 to 4 bags depending on the airline , for you and each family member in your orders. If you have more than that you should send it in your unacompany baggage. You should talk to transportation about it

Still subject to individual airline exemption rules. It varies from three to five checked bags per person and up to four carry-on. And it depends on your seat location. Rules are for member and accompanying family when on active duty orders, including PCS, which is not specifically spelled out.
