What would you change, why, what is your best solution or replacement? Can be just a pet peeve or irritant or something you think is detrimental to productivity, etc.

They should have a higher standard for combat arms personnel. It should be the same for both male and female. I know that physiologically we're built differently, but that shouldn't mean that not everyone has to meet the standard. Personnel in combat arms need to meet mission requirements period. Whether it rucking 70lbs or more, carrying 240s, 249s, mortar tubes, javelins, comms equipment or anything else.

Well you definitely getting your wish with the ACFT. And I concur, it should be based on what you do vs what age/sex you are.... Kind of sad in a rubbernecking way that it got delayed because of CV19..

I would change the physical requirements so that they matched the marines... I think that's self explanatory as to why.

You never know, we might have a war on the moon one day. But seriously although, isn't the Air Force supposed to get a subordinate sub branch called the "Space Corps" or something similar soon? I heard this was actually being seriously discussed and wasn't a joke.

The physical fitness test needs an overhaul. I'm not exactly sure how but I'm sure it can be brainstormed. The PT test does nothing to determine true physical fitness. As long as you can pound out a decent performance in a minute, it doesn't matter what you do the rest of your year and I see way too many out of shape Airmen who skate by on their PT.

Leaders should not have to prove that a Soldier/Sailor/Airman shouldn't be promoted with years of paperwork, videotapes, recordings, etc... The onus should be on the individual to prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt that they ARE ready to be promoted. Just staying out of trouble shouldn't be good enough...

Either get rid of our Raider Battalions or better integrate them into SOCOM. We lose the best of our grunts to Raiders, who are perpetually on their OFP, yet as they don't have perminant slots the majority of their instructors are PMC's and a lot of guys end up going back to the grunts after a few years with shitty "I'm better than you" attitudes

HUGELY different animal, but I can see why you would think that could work.... At the very least I can see the need for EOD techs to be knowledgeable on CBRN, but I suspect they are...

I present this under the assumption it would be more cost effective for the Army to marry these two MOSs. The acronym last I could claim it as a specialty was CBRN(E). I mean yea they teach us how to calculate blast radiouses and dissipation rates, but between deployments there is a whole lot of time for training. I could earned my days pay a little better is all I'm saying.
