Ronald Reagan. best president in my lifetime. Harry Truman would be a close second

He surrounded himself with intelligent people, he let them run their departments without interference or micro management, he was faithful to his word and his wife, it was prior to e-mail so he didn't leave a trail to follow if he did do something illegal/stupid (ie Iran Contra), he was compassionate, he treated everyone from the doorman to a visiting prince the same (cannot say the same for Nancy), I'm sure I will come up with more.
