In 23 years in the Army I have had a lot of Good leadership and some Great leadership. Today we said until we meet again to the best Battalion Commander I have had the pleasure to work for. LTC John C. Hopkins. He is moving on to greener pastures and bigger and better things. I hope before I retire I get to Work for this great leader and mentor again.

General George Patton. He was a warrior and a leader.

Would I be wrong to demand all my Soldiers come to this post and say wonderful things about me?

My former XO, LTC Stephen Fairless. He showed me the ropes to become successful as TRP XO, AS3, and S4. I have so much appreciation for him. Also , CSM Michael Mingle. He gave me a lot of insight and was always there as another strong leader in our last unit. He took time for both NCOs and Officers alike. There are many more but those two stand out for me.
