My New Year's Resolution, well I have two of them... 1) Is to exercise and lose a little weight. 2) Is to spend more time with God! He is ALWAYS first in my life, but I need to read my Bible more and spend some one on one time with him. The way I see it I can incorporate this into my exercising! Wish me Luck!!! Best of Luck to everyone else to KEEP their resolutions!

I never really do New Year's Resolutions. This year I do resolve to be a happier person and show more gratitude for all the good that surrounds me verses focusing on all the ugly. I have realized I have allowed too many things and people to steal my smile and my joy throughout the years. I have put way too much energy into things I had no control over and waiting for people to change. I strive to be a happier and better person.

I would stick with loosing 100+ lb over the course of the year. I want & need to improve my health and quality of life. Even though I'm 65, it never hurts to improve yourself so you have more years with family.

Orlistat has helped me considerably when nothing else has. I have done every diet, and excercise that I can think of without any weight loss, but that pill has resulted in a considerable amount of weight loss. It is available over the counter and flushes out the fat you eat rather than letting your body absorb it. Best of luck.

I would make sure there wasn't a single veteran left homeless. Nothing worse than having the VA kick you, your wife, and 13 yo child out of a homeless unit 2 weeks before christmas.. I would also make it mandatory for apts that accept HUDVASH to not be able to deny any rental apps!

I am going to continue working with the community emergency response team (CERT), and I plan to become more active with Team Rubicon. The "why" is easy...being in the Navy taught me a lot about service to others. That shouldn't end when a person leaves the military. We are at our strongest when we are helping others.

My new years resolution is to be a better father to my kids and finding a way take more time to spend with them. I want my kids to look back at their childhood and be able to remember more then dad just being at work all the time to make the bills. Hopefully this year I can take them hunting, fishing and camping and maybe a trip to Disney. I always wished I had more time with my parents before they passed and unfortunately they were not around much due to the daily financial struggle, I don't want my kids to go though that.
