I just enrolled back into school, to carry my associates degree further and to earn my bachelor's degree. I think that I know my limitations, and I plan to push through and complete this. My children are watching me.

Getting back into doing virtual distance medals after an injury in September benched me. Shoulder's still messed up so I can't swim like I want to but I'm walking 3 times a week. First I'ma finish the solar system medals and then doing a Hawaiian one with a friend of mine.

Spend more time playing toys with my daughter. I know she loves playing toys and one day she won't it's hard playing toys but I try but I want to make it a goal to play more with her toys and bond in that way as well as our other ways. When I was young all I wanted was my grandparents or parents to play toys with me now I get as an adult it's hard to have that imagination but it will be found this year.

I'm going to say self-care, placing myself first will let others know that I'm serious about living my best life. Self care for me, means saying no when that's what I feel at the moment, eating organically vegan, exercising several times a week and walking everyday . Also giving myself two hours each day to put the devices down and either cook or just be with myself.

As I get older, I realize more and more each day just how important it is to take care of yourself. I am in my early 40's and already having hip and back issues that is starting to affect my ability to enjoy life. My new years resolution is to improve my physical health and to loose weight. I won't make the same mistake as before and set an unrealistic goal of going to the gym every day... because let's face it... every year I set that as my resolution, I set myself up for failure before I even started.

To consistently pay down my huge debt this year, so I do not have to stress about the future and continue to enjoy life and make a difference in someone else's day - everyday!

Forgive myself for my past mistakes. Guilt & a feeling of stupidity (for my past mistakes) affects how I take care of myself. My mistakes were unintentional. My children will be happier if I am happier and healthier. I need to let the past go.

I would try to become the best person I can be so I am assured of a place in heaven next to my dear wife, who recently died unexpectedly. Miss her SO much!
