If you could magically stick to your New Years resolution, what would you choose to see through and why?

Id choose to see through winning the lottery. I just feel like it would the best thing I could do for me.

I didn’t really make a “resolution” because I never choose something I am truly going to do. This year, I told of myself I would make sure ALL finances are on track and savings have begun. We had no Christmas at our house this year. We have 4 children with spouses and 10 grandchildren, and we have no gifts or had a dinner. I procrastinate and do my shopping in December, and we didn’t get paid by the VA. I had nothing saved and nothing bought that I felt I could give out of fairness to all the children. I will NOT be in that spot again. I will shop earlier and will have a Christmas fund set up as well as money for our bills. We are never late and we were having to call everyone and postpone payments. We all know how difficult living on a fixed income is, so imagine a month without it. So, I resolve to have a Christmas every year and money for my bills in an emergency savings! Then next year I will work on a travel fund!

I do not usually have a resolution each year. This year is a little different. I keep getting medications for different things. I would like to lose enough weight and get into better shape so that I can dump some of the meds. I hate taking all of these pills! So wish me luck! Here goes everything!

I would choose my resolution to "workout a minimum three days per week and walk two other days. I was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and had surgery to remove left lower left lobe /part of upper left lobe. I need to see this resolution through to help get me in the best of physical shape which I believe will help make me healthier while helping to preserve my life for a long time.

There is a need for people wanting to work. I wish I find accommodation in a job to go back to work.
Working again means that younger people will follow our lead to work for our country. Working again will help me resolve issues that were left behind, and that I feel need to be taken care of. Working again will give me peace of mind.

Actually apply myself to my classes this semester and try to get a 4.0.

Be grateful under every circumstance. Always take a minute to see the bigger picture. 2021 sent me for a ride with cancer, and 2 hip surgeries. I don't ever want to feel ungrateful in life.

Elect honest politicians. What we seem to be lacking of late.

I am currently reinstating as well as refortifying my discipline that I have incrementally decreased since becoming a veteran. I will be utilizing step-by-step approaches to everyday lifestyle changes and adopting atomic habits in order to create and maintain those small one percent changes on a daily basis.

I am going to work on my health like everyone else
I am going to spend more quality time with family
I am going to try to spend less and save more
Learn something new and exciting
Help others fulfill their dreams.......
