This one might seem out there, but I would have wanted to meet Robin Williams. I would've asked him "How's it going?".

My Father. I would love to find out what had happened to him in his life that made him so mean.
For most of my life, he treated my sister and me like property, not children.
The only time he told me that he loved me was when he was in the ER, and was out of his mind.
Was it something that happened during WWII, or before? His sister told me about a couple of times
that he almost lost his life while serving in Italy. Or was it just his personality that made him so distant and mean-spirited?
He never spoke about his past, and I did ask but he would just look at me as if I had lost my mind.
I was his and my Mom's caregiver as they aged and was proud to do that. My Mom was very loving.
One of the last things my Father call me was a Bastard for pushing them into Assisted Housing.

Leonardo DaVinci hands down. The man imagined so many things that have come to fruition since; what else might he have seen. He was ostracized by everyone around him for his [outlandish] beliefs and [wicked] imagination, but today we realize the importance and relevance of what imagined. My favorite quote by LD..."All our knowledge has it's basis in our perspectives". I believe that if more people would realize this, that we all have different perceptions of what happens in the world, that just because we see something a certain way does not make it invalid. We might learn from each others perceptions and therefore learn better how to understand how and why others see, believe things in a certain way, different from ours.

Napoléon Bonaparte because I've always been fascinated by his rise to power from "le petit caporal" from Corsica to Emperor of the French!

Jesus Christ: I would ask if all of the death and destruction in the name of religion, that followed his death, was worth it. Was the crusades, the Spanish inquisition, the ethnic cleansings, and the abuse of children worth him sacrificing himself for humanity?
How does he feel about today's 'messengers' who abuse their positions in the Church for their own self interest? What is the 'reward' for those who twists his teaching to justify their prejudices? It would be a fascinating conversation.

Jesus never saw his death as "worth anything". He died for us not expecting anything back in return. You can't put a price on God's life. The evils in the world are manmade and God allows them because he gave us free will. However Jesus still forgives the worst sinners mentioned above if they only repent and change their ways. He also said the gates of hell will never prevail against his Church.

Benjamin Franklin, Great inventor and observer of 'things' big and small. A real problem solver and gave back more than he had taken from life and the Country that supported him. Would love to have dinner with this man and learn what I could about his perspectives on things. Seems like a real, decent human.

I have always wanted to meet Former First Lady,Eleanor Roosevelt. I felt she did more to advance Women during WWII than anyone. My Mother,Eleanor Wood was named after Her & corresponded w the Former First Lady! I especially am interested in the story behind Her offering praise & encouragement to Women in the Military during the War. I, myself served( US NAVY),during the Vietnam War & know personally how Women had to fight an Uphill Battle to be seen as equal to their male peers. Meeting this incredible Role Model would be Inspiring!

This is a hard question to answer me personally. I would pick a year in history and start from there. Crazy as it seems I would like to meet former President Trump and ask him WTF was you thinking. Okay, okay maybe not those exact words but just asked what was going through your mind when you made some of these decisions you know.
