If you could PCS anywhere, where would you go and why?

Lets say the assignments officer owes you one and you can PCS anywhere. Where would you like to go?

The Island in Washington state. I always loved that location, really any assignment would be fine in that area.

Fort Carson. The mountains are gorgeous, and the community is mostly military or former military.

To experience mountains in Fort Carson you have to drive to, at least, Woodland Park. Fort Carson itself has nothing in the way of mountains. You can only see them from a distance. If you like hunting I would recommend somewhere else. The draw here stinks. I'm working on 2 years here and have still not been able to hunt a deer. The fishing is good if you only like trout fishing. And acquiring licenses in both is more expensive than anywhere I've been. It is pretty though.

Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. I spent a week there...granted, it was in the spring, but I loved it and love the idea of living in Alaska.
Right now at 64 days out from DEROS, I'd just like to have an assignment out of Korea...someday soon!

Sir, a guy I was a PL with ended up being a exchange officer with the British Army. He loved it.

I competed for it and made it to the final three...ended up with NATO assignment and the proverbial lifetime supply of Rice-a-roni.
