If you could remove one AR 670-1 regulation which would it be?

The requirement to wear head gear in garrison. I think it is out of date. If I'm in formation, got it, look like the Soldier next to me. After that optional, like my motor pool.

I semi agree. If you're On duty, even if it's not formation, should wear it, and there were exceptions in place when working on vehicles and such anyways iirc, but if there wasn't my leaders usually understood it's hard to look up underneath the hmmwv with your headgear on without it getting all messed up.

When I was at Drum & Stewart we never had an issue with head gear on or even tops on during the summer while in the motor pool. Now once you reached that gate to leave you'd better have yourself squared away.

PVT Gary DeShawne - They changed it on AR670-1 I don't recall exactly when they modified it I think in 2011 I could be wrong.

I don't have a lot of issues with AR 670-1. But I get really frustrated when I keep trying to put my hands in my pockets when I'm standing around doing nothing, and remembering why I can't do that.

Bringing back the waxed Handlebar Moustache for Drill Sergeants would be a good regulation change. How do you D.I.'s feel about that?

Regimental Crests for people not in a regiment. Most foolish trinket of nothingness I have seen next to the ever tacky green tab.
