If you were given the chance, which country would you visit?

You were given the chance to visit any country in the world what country would you visit and why? I would want to go to France because that is where my family is from and it is a gorgeous country. How about you?

I still have a few Middle Eastern countries I want to visit and that is just because I like different cultures. I have been to many places in Europe, New Zealand, Antarctica, others. The people there have their own ways of doing things and personally I love experiencing them. Except Iraq, never want to go back there.

Antarctica, not that interesting. Cool and I love that I can say i have been but the coolest part was the penguins, that were illegal to play with. That and the sweet beards most of the scientists down there grew.

Since I closed out my bucket list recently (Ireland in 2013 and currently in Australia), I would have to add New Zealand (in 2015), Antarctica (but probably too expensive), and Guam (if MSG Justin Aflague heads home in the next year). In reality, will definately hit NZ, but that is probably it. Would also like to spend some time in Scotland someday

I would return to Europe, I would visit Auschwitz in Poland and Normandy. I have been to Dachau a couple times and it is a sobering experience. I would go to the coast of France, just to see the place for myself and to pay my respects.

One nice thing about the Air Force you can sure get around. Spent three weeks in Portugal. Only got to spend a couple days in Spain. The narrow streets where quite something to navigate.

I agree, though I have met plenty of people that have gone almost nowhere in 15-20 years of service and are in the same career field. This is why I count my blessings on the opportunities that have come along.
I was awful at navigating NZ after a month so I was incredibly happy to not be the driver while we were down there.

SSgt (Join to see) My son is now being blessed with the opportunity to travel to many countries. He is in the Army assigned to the White House Communication Agency. And I envy him very much.

I've checked off all but one country on my bucket list, and that is Australia. I have always wanted to visit there and would love to dive the barrier reef. I have heard that they may be closing it off for recreational diving though (if they haven't already).
